If you’re lucky enough to bump into a superstar like Rihanna, you would probably go crazy with excitement – but not this one kid, who didn’t seem to even know who she was.
Now, it’s not often you bump into a musical superstar, and even more rare that you bump into a self-made billionaire.
Well, if you manage to rub shoulders with Rihanna, you can tick can tick both off at the same time.
However, while she might be the iconic good girl who went bad for fans around the globe, she just looks like any other woman to some other people.

And that includes this one young kid who didn’t seem to notice who she was at all.
In fact, the kid asked the star to take a picture for him while he posed with some soccer players.
The lucky fan was a little more focused on getting a quick picture with UK Premier League footballers Jack Grealish, Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah, who were all in New York for the Manchester City friendly against AC Milan.
The video of the whole interaction has gone viral on social media with some fans simply unable to believe the music star could go so unnoticed.
While some people admitted Rihanna’s absence from the music scene is likely part of the reason she seemingly wasn’t recognized, many pointed out that the youngster likely wasn’t even alive when Rihanna’s last album dropped.
Jheeze that puts things into perspective, doesn’t it?
One said: “The younger generation doesn’t recognize Rihanna any more and it’s all her fault.”
Another commented: “Don’t worry she’s still relevant until every last one of us in this generation dies and that’s fine.”
“She doesn’t seem bothered at all and she gives the kid his moment, I respect that,” a third added.
Others joked it would be a hilarious moment when the kid grows up and learns who Rihanna is. Some people pointed out that Rihanna is probably less bothered about her not being recognized than her fans.
