A huge prayer conference in London recently brought thousands together at Twickenham Stadium, organised by the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD).
The event saw approximately 80,000 people from various denominations unite in worship and prayer, marking the second time the conference has been held in London. Last year, it drew 70,000 attendees over two days at the Excel Arena.
The gatherings are known for their passionate prayer, speaking in tongues, and reports of miraculous healings.
Leading the event is Pastor Jerry Eze, who launched the NSPPD YouTube channel three years ago, streaming daily prayers across all his social media platforms.
Reflecting on the event, Pastor Jerry expressed his gratitude on social media: “Lord, who am I? What is my house that you have dealt so kindly.”
His post prompted a wave of responses from attendees. Tecolesubah shared: “For the first time in my entire life I fell under the anointing, I cried, I prayed, I spoke in tongues, I prophesied! Indeed what God cannot do does not exist!! A new me has emerged!”
Others reacted to the moment an eight-year-old girl with cerebral palsy was reportedly seen dancing and singing. Nikkilaoye wrote: “When the little girl with cerebral palsy started walking and dancing, I started crying myself, and the girl with non-verbal autism said her name… I scatter… Holy Commotion everywhere… Miracles everywhere… What an awesome day indeed in God’s presence. God bless you more, sir @realjerryeze. May God continue to strengthen you. What a mind-blowing conference indeed… My children were praying along with my husband and me as we watched… That warmed my heart some more… God is good indeed.”
Omotenny also commented: “The testimonies made me cry like a baby! The 8-year-old with cerebral palsy getting healed was so overwhelming! God is indeed awesome! May the oil on your head never run dry, Papa.”
What began as an initiative to inspire his congregation during the pandemic, when in-person services were suspended, has since evolved into a global phenomenon, making Pastor Eze one of the most-watched preachers on YouTube.
According to NSPPD, the UK and the US jointly make 25 per cent of his live streams on YouTube, with more than one million views from the UK and over 700,000 views from the US last year.
