A bright young woman, destined to become a countess, tragically lost her life in a heart-wrenching motorcycle accident.
Shelby Smith, just 28 years old, from Swindon, was riding her Kawasaki ZR motorcycle when it collided with a car near Long Newnton.
The dreadful incident took place on the B4014 last Wednesday, shortly after 5:30 p.m.

“She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, fiancée, and friend. Full of life, love, and laughter, she was fiercely protective of her loved ones and had big dreams of adventures and travel,” they added.

“She will be sorely missed, thought of every day, and loved forever,” they said.
The family also expressed gratitude for the support and flowers sent in Shelby’s honor, asking for privacy as they navigate their “immeasurable grief.”
